Use the ‘open items’ to navigate from your inventory directly to a specific object. Consequently, save time by automatically scaling objects in your product.
In Mobius, you have been introduced to the Inventory Builder feature in this article. The article explains about developing your products in Mobius with layers.
You can use the ‘open items’ feature to directly navigate to the specific object and its own individual inventory. This feature is useful when you want to scale up or scale down your specific/original inventory in your whole inventory. For example, when you have multiple products or processes in your inventory and you want to adapt your inventory. Maybe because you have received an update or more specific information of one of your ‘ingredients’ that is connected to your products or processes. The feature is useful when you want to scale up or scale down your specific/original inventory in your whole inventory.
But, please keep in mind that the default amount of a product in Mobius is 1 of your specifically defined unit.
Let’s get started!
To get a clearer demonstration of the ‘open items’ feature, let’s use the T-shirt example!
For instance, you want to edit your Cotton fabric in your T-shirt cotton inventory. You want to add deionised water in your cotton fabric. You can go to the three dots and click the ‘open item’. See picture below.
Afterwards, you will be directed to your Cotton Fabric's inventory where the default amount of the units is 1. See picture below.
From your Cotton Fabric inventory, you can add the deionized water in 1 m2 Cotton Fabric and it will be scaled up automatically to T-shirt Cotton inventory in 1.2 m2.
